It's Almost Draft Time

We're now counting down the hours to the NFL Draft. Big boards have been determined, pulled down, re-determined and finalised. Analysts and fans have wagered on each and every strategy under the sun, and now the final few pre-draft days are before us.

We Have A Schedule!

The full NFL 2014 schedule has been released, and it's now time to pour over it in anticipation of some great matchups. I'm not going to sit here and rehash every participle of the schedule, instead taking my top picks for games throughout the year. Without further ado, let's get going!

2013 was a resounding success for Chip Kelly, and his offensive system. He chose the right group of guys, and set off in search of wins. Throughout the season there were doubts over what he could actually achieve "at the NFL level", and he answered his detractors at every turn.

2014 In The Eyes of Oakland

The Raiders have a lot of rebuilding to do. Some of the other teams lower down in last seasons standings were poor on the year but could certainly become competitive with the right direction in 2014, that isn't so true of the Raiders. After several years of poor drafting and signing questionable free agents there was a big deficit for the Raiders to pull themselves out of. This off-season is the start of that rebuild, with the largest amount of cap space to work with the Raiders can start to build.

Draft discussion has been limited to some Pro Day workouts, the big news has been in the NFL Free Agency. Big names have been cut and signed, there's still a lot of movement going on but this is where we are on the week.

Day Two: Finally Slowing?

There were a lot of deals late on day two of Free Agency, and into day three there have been a few more. Things are slowing down now, but not enough yet.

Free Agency has moved into stage two. Plans are starting to break down and teams are having to think on their feet a little more. There are a lot of big names still on the board.
